Since YAM establishment in 1990, begining as the " Under 20 Club ", we have done the following activites:

• Summer training workshops, in which youth were trained to become peer counsellors, and improved skills of existing counsellors
• Theatre worshops with invited, overseas actors/actresses from the Hypodrome Theatre, in which drama training was provided for educational plays
• Public informational meetings, in which Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information was discussed
• Distribution of anti-AIDS and abstinance leaflets to at-risk communities throughout Dominica
• Various fundraising activities
• Summer hosting of YAM group from St. Vincent
• Had many Fun activities for members
• Stared our youth frindly sevices project for the Planned Parenthood Association

Future Activites
YAM has grown and become more active in Dominica. It is our goal to broaden our outreach throughout Dominica to those who need it most. Currently, YAM is concentrating efforts on actively promoting safe sex and HIV/AIDS information to youth.
